Overview

We are pleased to introduce a new way to signing into Apple Computers. Jamf Connect will be your portal for signing into your machine. Jamf Connect will enhance your experience with password sync'ing across the board - from password encryption to your local password to you myCI account with no worries. You will also be able to connect to your network shares (if applicable) and even view your WiFi connections from your Login Screen.

Follow any of the 2 instructions listed

For New User(s)

  1. At the top right of the sign in screen, click on the laptop icon

     
  2. Enter your myCI email (with @csuci.edu)

     
  3. At Single Sign On CSUCI page, sign in with your myCI credentials (without @csuci.edu) and password

     
  4. Follow DUO instructions when prompted

     
  5. "Creating your account on this Mac" will then be displayed until your Desktop appears

     
  6. Once the Desktop appears, Self Service will appear and the computer is ready for use!


     

For Current User(s)

  1. At sign in screen, sign in with your myCI credentials (without @csuci.edu)

     
  2. As soon as you're signed in you MAY be prompt with the following:
    - Sign in with you myCI email (with @csuci.edu) and password

Features

When logged on, more information can be viewed on the top right of your Desktop (menu bar).

  • Current logged in user
  • Password expiration
  • Connect
    • Resync your password (myCI and local account password)
  • Change password information
  • File Servers (Group Shares, etc...)
    • Permission is required to connect
  • Get Help
    • View CSUCI TDx page for help or submitting TDx tickets
  • Current privileges status applied to current user
