Request Single Sign On (SSO) Enabling for Department Applications

Overview

Single sign-on (SSO) is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials (Dolphin name and password) to access multiple applications (such as Dropbox@CI, Lynda.com, Google, and Office365). The service authenticates the end user to all the applications which the user has been given access rights and eliminates further prompts when the user switches applications during the same session.

Due to the complexity of SSO integrations, these requests are gathered, prioritized and scheduled as minor technology projects.

Available to

Use of Single Sign-On is available for all faculty and staff with approval from Information Security Officer (ISO) and the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology Services.
