How To Configure DUO Mobile After Changing Your Device

1) Install DUO Mobile from the Google Play / App Store store on your new phone. Once installed, click the plus icon to add a new account.

2) Log in to myCI on your computer. If you are already logged in, please try logging in using an alternative Web browser or Incognito Window.

3) On your computer’s web browser, click the "Settings" button on the DUO Authentication screen, then select "Add a New Device"

4) Select "Call Me". You will receive a phone call from DUO on your phone; press any key on your keypad to allow authentication.

5) Select "Mobile phone", then click "Continue"

6) Input your phone number. Click the checkbox confirming your phone number and that you want to replace it, then click "Continue"

6) Select the type of phone that you are using from the list of phone types

7) Click "I have DUO Mobile", then scan the QR Code from your computer screen in the DUO Mobile app on your new phone.

8) A green checkmark should appear over the QR code, and CSU Channel Islands should appear in your list of accounts in DUO Mobile on your smartphone. You should now be able to receive push notifications or generate authentication codes on your new phone.
