Hackers are always searching for new ways to steal or trick you into giving up your password. They are good at it. If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, however, you can frustrate their plans. Even if they steal or hack your password, they can’t log in to protected services because they won’t have access to your phone, tablet, or Duo key fob.
This two-factor authentication has been adopted by many universities and corporations because it has proven to be so effective at curtailing cyber-attacks and thwarting phishers.
