Microsoft Teams Phone: Set Up Voicemail

Step 1: Open Settings

• In Teams, select More options (...) in the upper-right corner.
• Select Settings.
  

Step 2: Open your voicemail settings

• Select Calls.
• Scroll to the Manage voicemail section.
  

Step 3: Record a custom greeting

• Select Record a greeting to record your voicemail greeting.
• Follow the prompts to save the greeting.
  
  
   

Step 4: Choose your voicemail language

• Use Choose a language for your default greeting to select the language Teams uses for voicemail prompts.
• Leave the default language selected unless you need a different language.
  
  
   

Step 5: Choose what happens when calls go to voicemail

• Open Choose what happens when the call is redirected to voicemail.
  
• Select the option that matches what you want callers to experience.
  

Step 6: Edit the text-to-speech greeting if needed

• Select Edit custom greeting if you want Teams to read a typed greeting instead of using a recorded greeting.
• If you record a greeting, the recorded greeting overrides the text-to-speech greeting.
