License Type descriptions

SITE: Site license for all CSUCI-computers. In limited cases, site license for standard software may permit installation and use on personal computers. Submit a request for installation of site licensed software

Individual: Individual licenses must be purchased by employees and/or campus departments for University use before they can be installed. First submit a request for a software quote; once your receive your quote, submit your quote with your standard IT procurement request.

Concurrent: The vendor and the University's license restricts concurrent access to the software based on a maximum concurrent number of users. If applicable, the concurrent license count is listed in the "License Quantity" column. 

LM: License-managed. This software is connected to CSUCI's central license management system. 

Requesting installation of software

For CSUCI students:

You may use the CSUCI OnTheHub service to discover what software is available for free installation, and to purchase software at discounted prices.
 

For CSUCI faculty and staff:

For installation of site-licensed software, please submit a request for installation of site licensed software

For installation of individually licensed software: please complete your purchase first. Individual licenses must be purchased by employees and/or campus departments for University use before they can be installed. First submit a request for a software quote; once your receive your quote, submit your quote with your standard IT procurement request. Once your software order has been completed, you can submit a request for installation of site licensed software
