ITS Infrastructure in the Department of Information Technology Services can create email aliases for existing email addresses for staff, faculty, and campus organizations.
An email alias is an additional email address for an email account. Emails sent to both the original address and any aliases will be received in the same inbox. This service may be useful for current employees that are former CSUCI students that would like a version of their staff email addresses without trailing numbers, individuals with preferred names, or campus organizations or departments that would like shortened email addresses.
Please note that email aliases do not change myCI or computer login credentials.
