Remote Access to CI Systems

Overview

When working remotely, remote access to CI systems and software may be required.

  • VPN enables University users to access to group network shares (such as “G Drive”) and keyserved campus software remotely. Learn more about what campus services require VPN for remote access.
  • The CI Virtual Lab (CIVL) provides a virtual Windows 10 environment that can be used to run key academic software such as SPSS, Sibelius, Microsoft Office, and more. CIVL can be accessed using a modern Web browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are recommended) or Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol client on computers running Windows.
